Will this factory take 1,000 units of a vegan serum? We asked them.

The Index is the European index of private-label cosmetics and personal-care factories where the minimum order and the certifications were confirmed by the factory itself. Every profile carries the date it was confirmed.

Filter by category, country, minimum order ceiling and certification. What comes back are factories that have themselves said yes to work at your size.

Name and contact confirmed 04 Mar 2026. Unlocked with any pass. Field layout as published; this specimen names no factory.

§02What the lists cannot answer

You are not short of names. You are short of four facts.

A founder needs a factory that makes their category, holds the right certifications, will accept 500–3,000 units, and has a named person to write to. Today those four facts cost two weeks of site-crawling, fifty emails and a 10% reply rate.

Most of the replies say the minimum is 10,000 units. You learn that after the two weeks, not before.

§03How a minimum order gets confirmed

We build the fields the incumbents do not have, then ask the factory.

01

Compile

Agents build each Factory profile from the factory's own site and public association and registry listings. Every field records where it came from.

02

Ask

We email the factory from verify@ and ask six things: category, minimum order in units, certifications, private-label and white-label capability, and the right named contact.

03

Stamp

A factory that answers gets Verified and the date it answered. One that does not is labelled published only, and stays visible. Nothing is hidden and nothing is guessed.

04

Re-ask

Every profile carries its date, so stale ones get re-asked. A minimum order that moved from 500 to 3,000 units is news, and it goes in the Verification Log.

The verification round

The refresh cycle is the moat.

A copied list is out of date the week it is copied. Ours is re-asked, so each month it is worth more and harder to lift. Factories are never charged and can never pay for placement. The day placement is for sale, the data is worthless.

§04The instrument

Skincare factories in Italy that accept orders under 1,000 units.

Specimen rows: the field layout as published, with no factory named. Names, cities and contacts are the part a pass unlocks. One row reads published only — compiled, not yet confirmed. We never hide that.

The answer is a shortlist of factories that have themselves said yes to work at your size, each with a named person to write to.

An empty field reads Not confirmed, in the colour above. It is never left blank and it is never filled with a guess.

§05Standing rules

Placement is not for sale

A factory cannot buy position, prominence or a badge, and is never charged anything at all. Order is set by the date of confirmation, nothing else.

Every field carries a date

Confirmed 04 Mar 2026 is a fact. Confirmed at some point is not. Where we do not know, the profile says so in the published-only colour.

A refusal is honoured

A factory that asks not to be listed is removed within one working day, and the refusal is recorded so we never write to it again.

§06What it costs

One-time purchases. No subscription, no recurring billing.

7-Day Pass

Full search and every contact in the Index for one sourcing sprint.

12-Month Pass
